Video Training – Calgary, Alberta

I started in Video Production in the early ’80′s in Calgary Alberta as a volunteer at Rogers Cable TV. It wasn’t long before I was being recruited to host and produce a lot of the local shows as well as cover 4 years of the Calgary Stampede! While there I was accepted into the 2 year Cinema, Television, Stage and Radio Arts Course at S.A.I.T. Just before graduation I was placed in the Calgary CBC NEWS FINAL (at 11) control room as SCRIPT ASSISTANT to the director while still producing shows for Rogers.

I had some old clips put on a VHS tape before I left Rogers around ’86. Three years ago I converted it so it is poor quality but I didn’t want to lose the memories.
